We took another trip to the zoo today. This time, we ate an early lunch after the girls' morning naps and then went. Colin enjoyed playing with the recycling conveyor belt (thanks to Aunt Nancy for telling us about it). The girls were happy as usual to just ride along.
Colin and I each got a frosty from Wendy's on the way home. He earned this treat by being good at the zoo, and he was remarkably good. He stayed right by my side, no complaining about walking, came right over from the polar play area when I said it was time to move on. And Julia and Caroline sit and ride so nicely for an hour and a half in the stroller. Sometimes (and I'm sure every parent thinks this at one time or another) I think we have the best kids ever. Of course I'm sure Colin will make me rethink that soon enough.
