We took a walk/balance bike ride to Indian Run Meadows Park (a.k.a. Blue Park) after lunch today. The girls played on the picnic blanket with their picnic set and even played on the 2-5 year old play equipment. Julia enjoyed going down the slide, both with me holding and climbing down on her own head first. Caroline was a bit more reserved.
Colin was excited when he saw a family pull up on their bikes with 3 boys and yelled out "it's a play date" and asked if the boys would like to play with him. Then he was quickly disappointed to find out they were there for a picnic and couldn't play before we had to leave.
Even with the freedom of the blanket and the play equipment to play on, the favorite play area for Julia and Caroline was their stroller. Colin even got in on the action a bit.
Sounds like Julia is a slide girl and Caroline is a pool girl! The three of them look like they are having fun together. So sweet!
