We've had a couple of shopping mishaps the past two days. Yesterday during a trip to Lowes, in the rain with no rain jackets or umbrellas of course, Colin's flop broke inside the store. So shoeless had to ride in the stroller with Caroline while I carried Julia. Then Julia decided she didn't want to be carried and Caroline didn't want to ride. We left with a few items still not crossed off our list.
Today at Kroger, after searching both store entrances and the outside cart returns, there were no fire truck or police car carts available. Those are the only ones that can hold more than one child. So we took two carts, with Colin pushing Julia. That lasted through part of the produce department when Colin decided it was better to ride on the end of Julia's cart with me pulling while simultaneously pushing cart number one with Caroline. We got a lot of looks and comments, but luckily the kids were all good.
You are an angel, Keith! Such patience and so brave to even attempt some the shopping trips you taken.
