Four Year Checkup

The girls had their four year checkups today.  They were quizzed on some shapes and colors by the doctor and passed with flying colors.  They also demonstrated some counting, one-footed hoping, and left/right knowledge.

Julia is weighing in at 37 lbs and is 41 1/2 inches tall.  Caroline is just under that at 36 lbs and 41 inches.  Which means that neither girl is as big as Colin was at 3 years (39 lbs and 42 3/4 inches).

They each also got three vaccines with no tears.  Julia went first and set the tone of bravery.  Caroline was closer to crying, but held on.  They got two in one leg and one in the other.  

Before the doctor, we enjoyed some nice sunny weather this morning at the park.  They are getting big, even if they aren't as big as a three year old Colin.
