Today is the first day of Colin's summer break from school. The morning started with swim lessons for Colin. He was reluctant to sign up, but ended up having fun once it actually started. After lunch, instead of waiting for the bus, we hit up a new park (Wellington Park). The kids had fun on the playground there. The park also has a nice small wooded area with trails. We saw a deer feeding up close and even a tiny fawn walking near a creek. Colin was enamored with two kids breaking open rocks with hammers. I'm not sure what they were looking for or if they found it.
Not a bad start to summer break.
