Everyone has been having some nap troubles lately. Well to be fair, Colin has been having nap troubles for quite some time now. I think he is transitioning out of his nap. He seems to nap about half the time when we try lately, maybe even less than that. When he does nap, it seems to be for about 2 hours. Then that messes up night time sleep. The other night he was in bed by his usual time of 8, but still getting out of bed at 9:15, after an afternoon nap that day. I still lay on his floor and try every day for at least 30 minutes, but might give that up soon.
The girls are all over the place between 2 and 3 naps depending on how long the early ones are. Now that Julia has figured out she can stand up in her crib, she is standing and crying and keeping Caroline up. I think she hasn't figured out how to get back down yet. As soon as I lay her down, she is back up and crying again. When Julia stands up after a nap, at least she is happy and very pleased with herself.
Oh well, just another transition from phase to phase for everyone.
