Colin and I made oatmeal scotchie bars today in anticipation of our visit from Driz, Kristen, and Lewis this weekend (thanks Auntie Heather for the inspiration). Like any good baker will tell you, it's imperative to build a few ingredient towers before you start your baking. The girls woke up from their nap just as the timer went off for the first time. So they had to play together in a crib for a while, but they didn't seem to mind.
