Colin and I played checkers today. Yesterday it was War. Reminds me of playing with my Grandpa Freres. I am happy to say that I came back and won our checkers game with three checkers to spare. But Colin did pretty well for his first game. He even was able to look ahead to keep from setting himself up to get jumped.
Cards and checkers were 2 of Grandpa's favorite games and it's nice to see you and Colin enjoying time together doing those things too. He was pretty good at that Frozen game - looking for a good move to make - kind of like checkers!
