Fall Playground

I decided to take advantage of the warm weather and stop at the playground after picking up Colin from school today.  Our carpool partner was sick.  Since we didn't have to take her home, it was a good day to do something after pickup.  The kids didn't know we were stopping. In fact, nobody seemed to notice we were going home a different way until I pulled in the parking lot.  They were all very excited to eat their snack at the park and then burn off some energy.

We played some hide and seek and watched the skateboarders, in addition to the traditional playground play. I'm not looking forward to cold afternoons cooped up inside after school.
