Colin got a new (used) CD player from Grandma. The kids have been enjoying it all day. It started with Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons and The Polar Express this morning. Then some Christmas carols before our trip to Kroger. The evening is ending with some Jingle Bell Rock and, of course, Colin's favorite, Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives.
Too cute! Glad they are enjoying it. I was at a Christmas Luncheon today and I thought of Colin when they played Holly Jolly Christmas (it wasn't Burl Ives though)!!
ReplyDeleteI can totally hear Colin singing Holly Jolly Christmas. :) Too cute! I was looking into getting a CD player for Lewis after realizing we've gotten rid of all of ours. I guess the DVD players might play CDs, but I still might get something small for his room. He has a Polar Express book-on-CD, but the only way we listen to it is in the car. Great seeing you guys last week!
