Park Explorers

We've been visiting lots of parks the past few days.  On Sunday it was a family bike ride to new park.  The kids had lots of fun climbing the steps, saying the password, and then giving Mom a high five on the way down the slide.

Monday we stopped to play at Scottish Corners Park during our jog.  This is the playground for Colin's school next year.  We brought a basketball and Colin made his first basket on a 10 foot hoop.

Today we drove to Inniswood Park for the weekly summer kids series and learned about luna moths.  Colin really enjoyed looking through the microscopes.  Everyone got to make and take home a luna moth mask.

  1. Congratulations to Colin, the first of many baskets and hello and love to Meme's fine little luna moths. How I love the luna. Just occasionally, on summer nights, one will appear on the porch screen and once on the front of the house. So beautiful. What awesome parks you visit!
