British Soccer Stars

It has been a busy week in Dublin Ohio.  The kids had soccer camp in the mornings this week.  Colin's went from 9:00 - 12:00 and the girls went from 10:45 - 12:15.  Unfortunately the early start time required me to wake sleeping kids most days.  Colin woke on his own the last few days, but Julia and Caroline had to be roused each day.  It's not a good sign of things to come in the fall when all three will be going to school in the morning.

In addition to camp, Colin had Tae Kwon Do on Monday evening and swim lessons Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.  Swim lessons are in the outdoor pool this session.  So the girls and I have been donning our swimwear too for some water fun before and during swim lessons.  Yesterday during Colin's swim lesson, the girls were playing in the shallow water next to a group lesson for young children.  They were listening in and trying to do the things Ms Barb was telling the kids.  They were doing pretty well and got some free lessons!  Wednesday was so nice, we decided just to head to the pool for no particular reason other than to enjoy the warm sunshine.

Here is the certificate ceremony at the end of camp for the girls.  I think Caroline was proud.

This afternoon is finally a relaxing day at home.  There is a little thunder in the background and a few rain drops.  The kids are playing nicely in the living room.  Maybe I can sneak off for a nap.
