Prize Time

It's been a while since someone chose to bake something for their prize on the behavior chart.  I think Caroline was inspired by the cupcake wrappers and decorations the kids got from Meme yesterday.  She picked out a Party Rainbow Chip cake mix and strawberry frosting.  We decided to go with a small cake and 12 cupcakes, since we only have one cupcake pan.  

Caroline and Julia waited patiently on the oven to do its job.  They however were not so patient waiting for everything to cool and get iced.  By the time we put the frosting on, we had three fewer cupcakes due to lunch dessert.

The finished product turned out looking pretty good. I can't wait (although I think I'll have more patience than the kids) to try one.
