Little Monkey

Today was a beautiful spring day in Ohio. We spent the majority of the day outside. Julia, Caroline, and I took a bike ride to the park. I got a chance to sit in the sun and read while they played. While we were there, Caroline picked up a new skill. I've only seen her make it to the second rung before today.

After the park, we did some spring yard cleanup and got ready for a s'mores fire this evening. When Colin got home from school, he was excited to be on Spring Break and to be able to play outside in shorts and a t-shirt. He headed right out with the girls to play with Rachael.

Maggie snuck out early to enjoy the nice day too. We sat outside for a while watching the kids play, until it was time to make dinner. Then headed back out after dinner to sit by the fire pit and have some s'mores with neighbors while the kids played. It's nice to have a warm day and the extra daylight. We're looking forward to summer.
