The kids wrapped up a successful year of school a couple of weeks ago. Each grade had a fun end of year party that I was able to attend and help out with some games. Their school also held a field day with bounce houses, games, and water play. I was able to help out when Julia and Caroline's class was there. That was probably my favorite to volunteer at, even though I drove home in wet clothes thanks to a class of kindergartners.
Since school has ended, we've spent a few days at the pool. Caroline braved the high dive. Julia walked to the edge of the low dive twice, but has yet to walk off.
Colin had baseball camp the first week after school. It was a big commitment, from 9:00 - 2:00 each day. It was a hot week and he was a tired boy each night thanks to camp with some swimming and a baseball game mixed into the evenings.
Colin also tested for his blue with black stripe belt in Tae Kwon Do. That was an intense test. He had to perform Form Four (a choreographed series of fighting moves) by himself. And of course he had to break a board too.
It's been a busy start to summer. Next week is another camp for Colin (basketball) and then things should slow down a bit.

GREAT to see a post, enjoyed it completely. Thanks!
