We're going through another round of illness. The girls have colds and Maggie is still battling hers. This morning was a school day for Colin and the girls napped well. After lunch we walked to the duck pond and then put Julia and Caroline down for nap. For most of the past week, they have decided to go with just one nap. Usually the morning, but a few times just the afternoon. Today was no exception. Based on what I've read, I'm hoping it's another passing phase and will change once they start walking and burn more energy.
While they were in their cribs, not napping, Colin and I painted a ship picture and made apple bread to go with our dinner. Everyone is up and enjoying a snack now. We'll try for two again tomorrow.
