The letter pages are paying off for Colin. Tomorrow is his friend's birthday party and Colin was able to write out a birthday wish to him. I wrote it first so Colin could see how to spell and the letters, although I wrote "happy birthday Luke", not "Luke happy birthday". Colin took it from there and did this freehand all by himself.
I'm not expecting a similar card on my birthday though since I think Maggie was as surprised as me with how well he did.
Great job! At first I thought it was a birthday card for you, Daddy, but then read your entry. Maybe Colin can team up with me and my Cricut and start a greeting card business!
ReplyDeleteWell, his handwriting is already better than Jack and Eli's. Tell Colin to keep up the practicing-it will pay off later!
