We've been doing more run/bike rides lately, with a stop at the park for play and a snack. It beats getting up at 5:30 and the kids seem to enjoy the ride and the play. With Colin setting the pace, it's a bit more stop and go than my usual run, but the go pace is faster.
On our way back home today, we saw a group of middle school or high school cross country runners out on the trail. I'm not gonna lie, I felt pretty good yelling "on your left fellas" and then pushing fifty pounds of kid past them. Of course they might have been going farther than the 4 miles we did.
