Crib Games

With the loaned video monitor (thanks Kristen) I've seen some pretty funny things during nap time.  Usually it's just some singing or playing a bit.  Occasionally there is jumping or playing with the curtains.  Yesterday I saw Caroline straddling her crib rail and saying "look at this Jewa".  For the most part, I'll let it go as long as they are not crying or climbing out of the crib.  

Two of my favorite games that I've seen this week are "throw it in the compost" and what I'll call "Freaky Friday".  Throw it in the compost involves the girls running/bouncing from one end of the crib to the other until one of them yells "throw it in the compost" and they fall down and laugh.  Freaky Friday is actually something that I witnessed on Wednesday.  I'm not sure who started it, but they both took turns.  Julia would point to herself and say "this Caroline" then point to Caroline and say "that's Julia".  Then they would both laugh and someone would say, "let's do that again" and it would start over with Caroline calling herself Jewa.  Then pointing to her sister saying "that's Caroline".

Today has been relatively calm, but so far, no one is sleeping.
