Another Snow Day

Today is another snow day for Colin.  We got probably three inches of snow last night.  I slept in a bit this morning once I heard school was closed.  With a little cold, I needed my rest to get ready for a morning of snow play and an afternoon with all three kids.

We spent about two hours outside this morning doing the usual shoveling followed with some play time.  Colin did some more backyard snowboarding. Rachel came over and tried too.  The girls did some digging and even a little swinging.  

This afternoon has ended up a little more quiet than expected.  Ted and Rachel invited Colin to go sledding with them.  It's the first time he has gone to do something like this with a non-family member.  I'm sure he is having fun and I hope he is being good.  They are planning some inside play at Rachel's when they get home.  It's nice that he can go, but feels a little weird sending him off.
