Another Rainy Day

Today was another rainy day in Dublin. After running some errands and hanging around the house yesterday, we were ready for a change of scenery. So we packed a lunch and loaded up for a drive to COSI.

We were looking forward to the new Lost Egypt exhibit and the Cosmic Summer exhibit. However due an error on Dad's part, there was a little disappointment. It turns out that the Lost Egypt exhibit is scheduled for Summer 2018. So after apologizing for the mistake, we headed off to be cosmonauts.

Other than the new space exhibit, COSI had all of their normal exhibits going on. The kids enjoyed spending time in the Ocean area, playing in the outdoor play space, learning about energy, and building some inventions in the Gadgets area.

We left just in time. The first rain drops of a large storm started falling just as we got to the van. The rest of the afternoon was spent making (not baking as I had to explain the difference) no-bake cookies.
