"I want to get up dad!"
"Get my (friend, ducky, lovey) dad!"
"I have a poo poo dad!"
Yesterday's yelling was directed at sweet Caroline. I heard pleading from Julia to:
"Stop calling him that!"
"Caroline, it's not nice to say that if it makes someone sad!"
"He's Rudolph, not Kudolph!"
This was followed with one word from Caroline, "Kudolph".
Both girls have been sleeping with stuffed Rudolphs since the holidays. This yelling went back and forth for several minutes, interrupted only once when I asked Caroline to stop saying "Kudolph". Julia chimed in to reiterate what I already knew, saying "Caroline keeps calling my Rudolph, Kudolph.
Caroline's response was "I'm not calling Julia's Rudolph, Kudolph. I'm calling my Rudolph, Kudolph."
So did Julia ask Rudolph if he was sad to be called Kudolph and he told her that he was? :-)
ReplyDeleteI like Caroline's logic! :-)
Must say I prefer the name "Kudolph". Thanks for the story-I am smiling.
