SB - Day II

The second day of spring break did not provide as nice of weather.  It felt more like winter here again this morning, but at least normal end of winter and not the brutal cold we had all last month.  We spent our time inside most of the day.  

We read a lot.  Colin even took over and read us a couple of stories when my voice started to give out.  We had two workers here finishing demo and digging holes for the new porch.  So that gave the kids something to watch.  We baked some brownies this morning too, to take with dinner over to our new neighbors with a new baby.

In the afternoon, the sun finally peaked out and warmed it up enough for us to get outside for some scooter and bike racing.  I also got a chance to stretch my legs chasing down soccer balls and kicking them to the kids.

Not a bad second day, but I certainly would have preferred the warmth of yesterday.  Day 3 plans to take us to COSI.
