Ronald McDonald Cookies

We spent our morning baking some chocolate chip cookies for the Ronald McDonald House, and a few for us too.  Some people from Maggie's work are making dinner for families at the Ronald McDonald House tomorrow and asked for cookie baking volunteers.  We offered our services for 3 dozen.  I found an award winning, or so it claimed, recipe that made 6 dozen.  So that way we would have plenty to keep.  When all was said and done, we ended up with 89 cookies, minus the 3 that we sampled.  The mixer was nearly overflowing.  The cookies are good, but maybe not award winning.  Although I guess it depends on the award.

While I was scooping and switching pans, the kids got some Easter practice, hunting eggs.  And then built book houses to keep their eggs safe.  In the blink of an eye, it's already lunch time.
